I’ve had a Krishnamurti book - “Life Ahead” since I was about 16 (stolen from my mother!) - I used to read it a lot, and was much calmer than now. I will start reading it again! He always speaks and writes so clearly and rationally. I think he’s my favourite Indian guru!

Our brain is a "governor" to seeing the truth it seems. Because of its surface memory retention and manipulation. To eliminate those variables exposes true observation which subconscious memory seems to retain to one degree or another. Which then manifests to the surface memory at some point that govern our ability to observe in total silence, Which is the trap he speaks of. Any Thoughts my conclusion? am i totally off? or is some truth, or am i right on the bullseye because it could go in many directions but as he interprets it is how i gathered this conclusion myself. This gentleman is deeper than the deepest rabbit hole. And i wanna find out how DEEP it goes.

I hear and understand but this is not the full picture. We all have insecurities, drives, needs, etc. and therefore want certain forms of validation. We are hierarchical and status-driven beings who want to impress and/or prove our worth (even spiritual worth) to others/society. It's just part of being human.

Wow, a more relaxed inquiry together than I usually see. K was always up to the challenge. This one in particular was pretty sensitive in nature. The conflict surrounding AI will throw humanity in a tailspin. Luckily, the art of inquiring together was largely cultivated by K and is accessible by any one human being living in todays world.
